Sitting on the dock of the bay....

Well, we've been in Charleston since the 25th of April, in a slip next to our new boat (home) waiting patiently until all of the final details have been taken care of....  commissioning is the technical term. We can't move anything aboard until she is officially ours, and anticipate that will be in a week, give or take.  In the meantime, we've been exploring Charleston by car (mine is here) and dinghy.  Yesterday we strolled along the waterfront, starting at the south Battery. Wow!  How impressive are the old homes there. If you have never visited, it is probably something you may want to put on your list.
